REV IT UP!!

 It's Orchard in Bloom time again in Indy.  This garden show officially opens tomorrow and runs through Sunday.  One of the features of the show is the "Events in Bloom" tent.  Here are some pics of our kids race theme table.

These boy party ideas were also featured on Spaceships and Laser Beams.

RECYCLING REVELRY

My event planner extraordinaire friend Anne Rogers Mitchell and I  styled this open house for a very forward thinking, environmentally conscience company called Efficient Systems.  They are doing some really cool stuff with recycling rainwater, geothermal heating and solar energy and putting it all to work in their new office.

The event was held at the future site of their headquarters that was very much under construction.  So, in keeping along the lines of reuse and recycle we looked around the construction site for inspiration and 

re-purposed things they had hanging around for the event.  

I just love this duct work!   I thought they made a great sculptural statement.  

Ladders held the custom hard hats that the guests would wear for the tank drop ceremony

The guests toured the facility to see the inner workings of the technology.

 Then outside for the rainwater tank installation.

The weather couldn't have been better for this exciting event!
